Impact partnered with Benchmark Craftsmen to create unique brand recognition for Glidden Paint through an installation that brings together interactive technology, the spontaneity of a live audience, and the immediacy of social media.
The Colorful Fan Interactive Photo Booth employs an eye-catching super-sized paint can on the concourse of the Quicken Loans “The Q” Arena in Cleveland. The display is used when the arena hosts Lake Erie Monsters hockey and Cavaliers basketball games.
Inside the can, fans are invited to “get in the paint” and have their photos taken against a sport-themed background where they become part of the action. The photo is Glidden branded and immediately sent to the fan’s cell phone, where it can be posted to Facebook, showing friends the fun they are having at “The Q.”
Fans have the chance to win a Glidden paint party contest and have their photo posted on the arena’s Q-Tube during the game. The winner and the entire row also receive special Glidden branded t-shirts.
