Impact Communications enjoys an excellent partnership with our neighbor on Lake Erie, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Impact continues to create and develop multimedia kiosks for the Rock Hall on a variety of educational and entertaining topics.
Scriptwriting, design, video production, gaming and audio databases are provided by Impact to create engaging programs found throughout the Rock Hall.
To date Impact has created twelve multimedia kiosks for the Rock Hall, including:
The Rolling Stones: 50 Years of Satisfaction – Three iPad-based kiosks were created by Impact for the world’s first major museum exhibit dedicated exclusively to The Rolling Stones.
One Hit Wonders – A database-driven program featuring the artists who have had only one hit in the Top 20. Impact was awarded The Communicator Award of Distinction for the development of this program, as well as a Silver Award from the Ohio Museum Association.
Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll – Searchable by artist or song title, this kiosk presents some of rock and roll’s most popular and influential recordings.
Les Paul and the Electric Guitar – Featuring video clips of Les Paul, the multimedia program is a compelling and entertaining biographical look at this 1988 Rock Hall inductee.
Sound Check – Sponsored by Energizer Battery, this exhibit aims to educate Rock Hall visitors about the interrelationship between music, technology, and hearing health.
The Grateful Dead – A multimedia program centered on the roughly 2,300 live concerts the Grateful Dead performed during their 30-year career.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum tells the story of the impact that rock and roll music has had on our society and our world. Numerous interactive exhibits located throughout the museum engage and inform visitors of all ages.
