Melissa Bentley began her career in video production in New York City in 2003 working for NBC. Over the years, she has played a variety of roles behind the scenes and continues to do so at Impact Communications. In her role as associate producer, she is responsible for coordination, scheduling, casting, writing, testing and contributing on most projects that come through our doors.
Before coming on fulltime at Impact, Melissa was a field producer for two television programs on A&E: “Crime 360” and “The First 48”. While working on “The First 48”, she had the opportunity to meet and work with some of the hardest working detectives, as well as witnessing firsthand how their work affects their daily lives and those of their families.
As you can guess, Melissa thrives on challenges – always anxious to dive into something new, learn from the experience and come out successful. And if she can add a little humor along the way, then life is good.
Melissa appreciates her teammates at Impact whom she calls the most creative, encouraging and hard working people in production, and feels fortunate to be part of the team. She is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
