Sarah Pagura brings a wealth of experience to her role as writer/producer. Before joining the Impact team Sarah worked in television production for nearly twelve years in Chicago. She has produced nearly 30 hours of non-fiction content that has been broadcast on the nation’s top cable networks, including National Geographic Channel, The Weather Channel, History, Biography, and CNBC.
In the fall of 2011, Sarah was awarded the 2010 News and Documentary Emmy for Outstanding Historical Programming for her work on Witness: Katrina, a two-hour documentary about Hurricane Katrina, which was broadcast on National Geographic Channel.
Sarah’s role at Impact is to create interesting, engaging content both as a video scriptwriter and producer. She uses her extensive broadcast experience to write creative and thoughtful treatments. She then leads a team in executing the production in relevant and visually compelling ways.
Sarah is a relationship person. She excels at establishing connections and getting people excited about the projects she is writing and/or producing. As a producer, Sarah is mindful and skilled at juggling multiple tasks, all the while pushing herself and her team to deliver top results on every job.
Sarah finds motivation each day from her family and friends. She wants to tell stories and create content to engage and entertain.
Sarah graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor’s of Arts in History.
