The Project
The Managers’ Leadership Conference (SMLC) is Signet Jewelers’ single opportunity during the year to gather its entire North American field in one place at one time. The three-day conference is designed to communicate key messages and directives established by Signet Jewelers leadership. It is their most powerful means to motivate their Team Members prior to the critical holiday selling season. Each year Impact is tasked with creating an event that outdoes the year before in terms of educating and creating impressions and inspiration. The high energy, media savvy audience expects a great show and Impact has proven conference after conference that we are up to the task.

Our Process
Impact proudly produces all aspects of staging and content for the annual SMLC. Each year Impact creates eight general sessions filled with high-end production, motivational speeches, and exciting live entertainment. Pre-production begins in early spring as we begin our initial brainstorm. By May we are working with key stakeholders to understand the specific directives they want to convey and the components needed for the meeting. As summer heats up, so does our calendar. We are busy finalizing set design, coordinating staging, booking entertainment, writing speeches, crafting speaker support, handling graphic design, and producing original music. On top of it all, Impact also writes, shoots, and edits multiple video components for each session. Once all the meeting elements are finalized, our crew travels to the show location and we serve as the on-site production team. From the time we arrive to the time we depart, our team works tirelessly to ensure that the high-energy event goes off without a hitch.
