THE PROJECT OUR PROCESS BEHIND THE CURTAIN

The Project

Impact was asked to create an augmented reality experience for Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania’s “BizTown,” a fully interactive mock town that simulates the day-to-day functions of thriving communities. We were asked to develop age-appropriate games and activities to further the learning experience. To satisfy the request, we created a trigger-generated AR experience that feature an animated character who helps students learn about career opportunities in natural gas resource development.

Client

Junior Achievement serves to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Their volunteer-delivered programs are designed for students from kindergarten to 12th grade.

Our Process

From concept to completion, Impact brought this project to life. During pre-production we asked a lot of questions then developed a strong creative concept. Once in production, we created illustrated characters, environments and storyboards. We also researched and wrote scripts. And we sourced VO talent. Then, in post-production we brought it all together with custom programming, testing, and app store deployment.
